Lawrenceburg Fire Department would send our condolences to Colerain Fire Department in regards to their in the line of duty deaths of two Colerain firefighters. Our thoughts and prayers are with their friends and families.

Colerain Township Captain Robin Broxterman and firefighter Brian Schira will always be remembered for giving their lives to save others.

History:
Lawrenceburg Fire department was established in 1882. The Fire department consisted of Three stations, Miami, Edenburg, and Hilltop. Click on History for a more detailed history of Lawrenceburg Fire Department.

Apparatus:
The current apparatus consists of the following units: 410, 411, 412, 420, 425, 435, 436, 437, 438, 444, 402, 401, Special Operations Trailer, Rescue 1, Retired Apparatus

Staffing:
Lawrenceburg Fire department has 66 members and 10 cadets. Lawrenceburg Fire Department now staffs 4 full-time employees. The full-time employees cover weekdays and part-time employees are used to cover the weekends.

Stations:
The new Downtown Station. Downtown Station sits at 300 W. Tate St. This building was just completed in July 2004. The old Station one was located on Short St. The old Station two was on Rt 50. Station three is located on Rt 48.
